The Cuba Five in Australian

Maria Eugenia the sister of Tony Guerrero, one of the five Cuban political prisoners held in US prisons, has just concluded a tour of Australia organised to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the Fives imprisonment.

The Cuban Five — Antonio Guerrero, Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González and René González — were arrested in the US in September, 1998 after they had infiltrated notorious Miami-based terrorist organisations that have caused thousands of deaths and inflicted incalculable economic damage on Cuba since the triumph of the revolution.

Before leaving the country Maria spoke with the Guardian's Bob Britten. The interview is here.
