Freedom to Travel: The U.S. travel ban on Cuba

Bill Delahunt, Democratic member for the Massachusetts’s 10th District, has introduced legislation in the US House of Representatives calling for an end to the travel ban on Cuba for all Americans. This will mean "Travel for All" instead of "Travel for None" or even "Travel for Some”

The bill H.R. 874 would “allow travel between the United States and Cuba" - for all Americans, no exceptions.

The travel ban is a key element of the US’s illegal blockade of Cuba which a report to the UN estimates has cost Cuba more than $93 billion. The right to travel is supported by all major U.S. human rights, civil liberties, academic, religious, humanitarian organizations musicians and artists.
